Last night at this time, I was lying in bed, miserably cold, extremely achy and feeling just plain rotten. My fever was 101, but I couldn't get warm enough. Every bone in my body hurt. My head was throbbing and I couldn't get comfortable. I had Jeff rub some oils on my feet and I tried to go to bed. My fever broke around 5:00 o'clock this morning and I actually felt pretty good for most of the day today. My stomach was a little queasy and my head still hurt, but it was a HUGE improvement from how I felt when I went to bed last night.
I was kind of ready for a quiet night at home but it was not in the stars...and I'm glad!
Jeff and I went to a wedding reception tonight for one of his cousins daughters. We walked in, said our congratulations and visited for a minute before heading over to the dessert table. WOW! Wendi, Jeff's cousin, made ALL of the dessert - 7 or 8 different flavored cupcakes and cake bites AND this gorgeous cake!
This picture doesn't really do the cake justice - it was simply stunning!
Sure glad I was feeling better!
