I have always loved the HOV lane...but this week it's especially great! I have been driving to SLC every day to attend a finance training for my job. There are 4 of us from the Utah Valley south area that are driving together. We leave at 6:30 a.m. and get home around 5:30 p.m. and it seems like we are always right in the middle of rush hour traffic - both ways! On the ride home today I noticed that every lane was slowed to 15 mph or they were completely stopped. BUT - not the HOV lane! We had smooth sailing all the home.

Am I reading your signs right? Do you really have to have 2 or more people to ride in the HOV lane OR you can bypass that requirement and just pay a toll? That's crazy....kind of defeats the purpose of encouraging carpooling! How much is the toll anyway?
