My neighbor called this morning to let me know that he found a great deal on strawberries - $6.00 a flat. The store brought everything they had out of the back and told him "when they're gone, they're gone". I got dressed, threw on a hat and ran to the store - I ended up buying a lot of strawberries!
Rylee, Lexi, Coleman and I spent most of the morning in the kitchen and this is what my freezer looks like now:
My shelves look so nice full of 22 containers of jam and 10 bags of frozen whole berries.
Tomorrow I'm going to make some whole wheat bread after church just so that I can have some fresh, hot bread with some yummy homemade strawberry jam!
