There's nothing better...

than having this scenery for your evening run!
I have had a very busy week with finance training, ball games, day camp for my activity day girls, scout bike-rodeo, laundry, etc...Tonight I was stressed and found myself out of patience so I decided to make my sink full of dishes wait and I went for a run. I ran around the track at the high school. It's a nice, flat surface and I never have to worry about traffic or how far I'm running before I have to turn around and head home.
I can just plug into my music and run!
Tonight, everything was perfect!
The weather was perfect, the sunset was perfect, my playlist was perfect!

My kids even did the dishes while I was gone...Perfect!

Tell me how you train for a triathlon?

I googled "train for a triathalon" and a simple schedule popped up. I run twice a week, I swim twice a week and I bike twice a week. When the triathalon is 2 weeks away, I'll start doing each of those things 3 times a week - slowly working up to a 1/4 mile swim, a 10 mile bike and a 3.2 mile run. I hope I make it!
