Wow! I can't believe I've been away from my blog for so long. I could say that things have been busy and I just haven't had time, but the truth is - if it's important to you, you will make time, right? So - I'm making time. My amazing sister-in-law just finished posting every day for a year...a WHOLE YEAR! Can you believe that? (You can read her brilliant, witty posts here) Anyhoo, it inspired me to be better and to try to post more often. I have contemplated the blog-every-day-for-a-year thing but I just don't know if I'm witty or interesting enough to make it 365 days. Granted, there is a lot going on in our lives and I'm sure I could think of something everyday for maybe a month, but a whole year? I don't know. So...here's my promise. I will try it for a month and see how I'm doing/feeling. I really love the idea of blogging as a type of family journal so I'm giving it a go!
One last closing remark: I really LOVE comments...it's the kind of "pat on the back" I need to keep me going. So, if you ever log in to read whats going on, leave me a line or two!!

Awesome! Stacey just started doing a journal blog type thing. She's trying to post SOMETHING every day. Even if it's a stupid picture and a sentence. Keep it up!
I am doing it but it's a private blog for just myself and my posterity one day. I'm for sure. not witty enough to post it publicly and sometimes I just want to vent and don't want to do that publicly. You are witty enough and I need someone's blog to read every night before bed if Melissa is stopping. I'm not a good commented but I understand how fun it is to get them so I will try. Good luck!
Here's your pat on the back:) I love to read how you and your family are doing, and since I'm scared of facebook I prefer to read the journal-versions on people's blogs. I'm in the process of converting past blog posts into a bound family journal. It's good to have SOMETHING written down, and we enjoy looking back into the past occasionally. Good luck!
