Canada Day

Tomorrow, July 1st, is Canada Day. Most of you know that my Canadian roots run deep and I love to visit my favorite country up north every chance I get.

I have very fond memories of skipping rocks and riding surrey's in Waterton.
This is one the most beautiful places on the planet!

I also have great memories of going to the Raymond Parade
(last year,  Jeff got free toilet paper that the local plumber was throwing from his "float"..score!)

and watching the chuck wagon races at the Raymond stampede

Since I won't be able to make the trip this year, we'll be celebrating Canada Day at home. I found a great blog post with some fun ideas that we are going to pull together after church tomorrow

Go HERE for the blog post at "One Pretty Thing"
(you could probably make one or two at your house if you want to feel "Canadian" for a day!)

Happy Canada Day, eh?
