Last night, Jeff asked Coleman to say our family prayer. Coleman asked if it was "the long one or the short one" ~ meaning a prayer or a blessing on the food. Jeff told him it was the long one and to think of all of the good things that he could. I told him I would help him if he got stuck and he began. After a few of the "everyday" things that we usually pray for, I started to help him. When I whispered for him to close the prayer, he opened one eye and said to me "two more things". I just smiled and let him finish. His last two things were "Please bless to keep moms jewelry safe and my new cool Power Ranger jammies clean". He was definitely thinking of all of the good things!
It's the little things like this that make me appreciate bring a mom!

LOL! He's always been a sweet, considerate boy, but blessing your jewelry? That's a good boy for you!
Note to self - it's now a double sin to steal Jodi's jewelry. I love that kid - what a hoot!
Nothing is better then a childs prayer - they are so sweet and honest about the things they pray for. Loved the story!
