Happy Birthday to my "Lukie". In honor of her 7th birthday, I wanted to post 7 things I love about Lexi...
#1 - Her fun smile. It is the most contagious smile! She has a way of brightening up a room and making everything lighter when she smiles!
#2 - Her unbreakable spirit. She always knows what she wants and goes after it. I don't mean this in a bad way...she has drive, determination and gives everything 110%. I wish I were more like her in this area!
#3 - The way she sings - EVERYWHERE we go! Lexi loves to sing! She sings in the kitchen while she makes her lunch. She sings in the bathroom at restaurants (and it echos!) She sings while I do her hair in the morning. She sings when she does her homework. Lexi sings all of the time and has a beautiful singing voice. I love it when she tries to match the pitch of the blow dryer and hum while I round brush her hair.
#4 - Lexi is a people person. She always gets so excited when friends come to play, when we are going to grandma's, when she is getting ready to go to school...anywhere there are people. She feels right at home around family or perfect strangers and always makes everyone feel like a long-time friend.
#5 - Her quick wit. Lexi loves jokes and can hold her own in this area. She loves personal, "inside jokes" and can remember them for a long time. I think her favorite is when her uncle puts up his fist and says..."Do you know what this is?" and she will reply..."yah, a week in the hospital!"
#6 - Her love for animals. Lexi is drawn to animals and always treats them like she would a person. She has loved our cat almost to death! Literally! She will wrap Mitz (our cat) up in a blanket and try to put her in her baby stroller and she will hold her in her lap and sing made up lullaby's about how fun it is to be a cat.
#7 - Her bubbly personality. Lexi's teacher says that Lexi has a hard time at recess because everyone wants her to come and play with them. Kids (and adults) are drawn to her because of her great personality. She makes everyone feel like her best friend..and she genuinely feels that way. Everyone is a just a new "best" friend waiting to be met!
Happy Birthday Lexi Loo! We love you!

Happy Birthday Lexi!
She's a doll, Jodi! I didn't realize she was so close in age to Sasha! When can we get together? We should meet at BYU and go bowling with all the family! Although this time I don't think we should go looking for boys and ask them who they think is older!
happy birthday!!! Jodi, thank you for the beautiful pictures. I have them framed in my living room. It is beautiful
We love our Lukie. She's such a sweet, caring, hilarious girl! Happy Birthday!
