A new addition to our family

Meet G.G. - the newest member of our family. No...I did NOT go out and buy a kitten. Brad works at the city dump (he prefers that I call it the "Landfill") and he heard a faint meow coming from one of the boxes that had been dropped off. He opened the box and inside was this cute little adorable furry face staring at him. He called home and asked if he could bring it home and I said - NO WAY! We already have a cat that is potty trained and lives outside 90% of the time. I also didn't want the added responsibility of nursing a kitten back to health. I told him to stop by the animal shelter on his way home and drop it off. Well, 6 o'clock rolled around and Brad gets home from work holding a box - so now we are the proud owners of a not-even-6-weeks-old kitten. We have been bottle feeding her because she is too young to lick and lap up any water/food. We had to go to WalMart and buy a special tiny bottle and some kitten formula to feed to her. The kids like that part!
Lexi has been good at getting G.G to walk and now she will even run a little. It really is pretty cute! I got some blurry video yesterday of G.G's and Lexi's exercise routine.

I probably should explain how we got the name G.G. It sounds very French and sophisticated, but G.G. stands for Gray Goose. We wanted to name her Goose because when she first learned to walk, she wadled like a goose and she is gray. But nobody thought the name fit her. So we just shortened it to G.G. and it seems to fit.

Now, if you or any of your neighbors are looking for a really cute kitten to "adopt", please call me! We love our little G.G but I think 2 cats is too many!

I want to squeeze her she is so cute and cuddly. I am a sucker for animals especially the babies. Derek on the other hand is not so fond of cute, little furry four legged friends. If I lived closer I would so be trying to work it to bring GG to my house.

That is the cutest little cat! Savannah would take her in a second if we lived closer! And I have instituted a "no pets rule" at my house! But this one would definitely tempt me.....Oh and I hate to say it, but I don't think your kids will allow you to give her up after babying her for a while!
