hard at work

Last week for family night, we worked on getting our garden boxes ready to plant. They were a mess! We didn't plant a garden last year, so they had been "free" to grow all sorts of weeds, tall grass, etc. Here is a picture of what they looked like before we started:

And here is what they looked like after 7 people worked on them for about an hour:

And this is what our wheelbarrow and our hands looked like after all the hard work:There is great satisfaction every time I look out the window at our beautiful plants...and there will be an even greater satisfaction after I make my first toasted tomato sandwich!
