Today is the day - the day that I am officially feeling "old"! My Brad turned 16 today...it's a huge day for him. His dad bought him a hammock (he wants to hang it in his room and use it for his bed) I got him an awesome sweatshirt from Oakley (thanks Derek & Denise) and the kids got him some gum, a talk on tape, some new socks, etc... He was also hooked up with a round of golf at Thanksgiving Point (thanks Rob) and got 4 tickets to the Utah Blaze indoor football game tomorrow night. He is taking a couple of friends (I get to use the 4th ticket - I know, not very cool to spend your 16th birthday with your mom...but they need a ride to Salt Lake) and going out to dinner before the game. So I thought he got his drivers license...so why do you need to take him up to SLC? Cut the cord Jodi. Just Kidding. There is no way I would let him drive up there either. Happy Birthday Brad!
Nor that the "cut the cord" comment made me upset...but he only has his lerners permit - not a drivers license. He has to finish up range and road and then he can officially drive. But NOT to Salt Lake until he's about 22!
