Family Night at our House

We invited a few families over for Family Night tonight - we had a great lesson on "gratitide" by Sean and talked about all of the things we were grateful for from A-Z. Then we started our FUN activity...making gingerbread houses!

Baby Briggy was happy all night - smiling and flapping his arms - such a cute boy!

After the gingerbread houses were finished - I started working on a Christmas wreath for my front door and here is the finished product...hanging on my door - isn't it festive!?! (Thanks for your help Camille!) I found the idea for the wreath here.

And...here is the wreath that Renae made for her front door. Aren't they cute!?!

We displayed the gingerbread houses on our piano and we hung the new wreath on the front door - we're ready for the holidays!

So how do you make the wreaths? Is it lots of wire to attach the balls or are you using a wreath form? They are really pretty! We did a gingerbread house last night for FHE too....great minds think alike! (but I cheated and just bought the kit :)

I am SOOOOOO making one of those. What a PERFECT Christmas craft idea. (And yes, I just used perfect and craft in the same sentence. It MUST be good!)

Love the wreaths and I love Coleman's picture and his name written in cursive! He got glasses and looks so cute! He's growing up!
