It's the most wonderful time of the year...the tree is out and decorated - the nativity is set up on the paino - the Christmas music is playing - the wassail scented candle is burning - and the snow is coming! It's my favorite time of the year!
Don't you know its bad luck to put up the tree before Thanksgiving?!! Oh well, we might join you since I have a sick kid who is derailing our Thanksgiving travel plans. We were supposed to leave at lunch today, but now I am thinking we will just drag our Christmas stuff down and decorate tonight!
I tried to get in the mood today but the weather just isn't allowing it to sink in. The tree looks great. 1 1/2 more days and I will allow myself to listen to some Christmas music, maybe that will help.

I opened your blog...saw the new background, and side view of Ry in glasses, and I thought, "Whose blog is this?" I was so baffled, that I had to look at the blog address to figure out what I was looking at.
Melissa - I HATED that last blog background...but I started playing around with some different holiday backgrounds and didn't have time to change it before we had to leave. I like this one much better! We painted our walls aboiut 3 months ago - when we got new couches. We're excited to see you too - can't wait to hear all about your trip!
