1st grade cursive

Lexi has been learning cursive this year and has been diligently teaching Coleman everything she knows when they play "school". The other day, I found this is Coleman's back pack:

He wrote his name in crayon and IN CURSIVE on the top! He was so proud of himself! There was a little poem on the back that read:

I have a dog, his name is Rags

He eats so much, his tummy sags.

His ears flip flop

His tail wig wags

And when he walks, he walks zig zag.

I love having a first grader - I love his artwork. I love the stories he writes and how he sounds words out phonetically. Most of all, I love snuggling up at night on his bed to read and tucking him in with a hug and a kiss! And...I love that Coleman loves it too!
