Today I am grateful for the service men and women that have sacrificed time away from their families to to serve in our military to protect our freedoms.
I am even more grateful today that some of the soldiers have been able to return to their families safely!! This was the sight I saw this morning as I drove the kids to school. My heart was full and I felt such gratitude for their service!! Thank you!

My parents had them up their street too. I father of 5 had been gone for 14 months. It's so great that so many could come home and the YM/scouts could honor them but getting up early to put the flags up. Yay for our troops.
I'm with you! What great sacrifices they are making to leave their family, loved ones and their homes behind for their country! What an amazing place we live! Huge thanks to all of those that sacrifice for our country!
That is so cool! I miss Utah! I always thought the flag fundraisers were the coolest thing in the world. I loved waking up on flag holidays and seeing them all posted in my neighborhood. How neat that they are doing double duty!
