I had to work at Sam's club today and while I was there I decided to pick up a few grocery items and save a trip to the store. I guess it was close to dinner time and my hunger got the best of me...and Sam's is a SCARY place to let your hunger get the best of you. I finished my work and headed for the "snacky" foods. Keep in mind that I am trying to be really good with what I put in my mouth since Hawaii is in a few short months - so I am looking at labels and trying to pick out the snack that would do the least amount of "damage". You will be proud of me - I didn't get a single "snack" food. I put every package back on the shelf and headed for the yogurt. I figured that maybe I could put some Go-gurt in the freezer and have those for my snacks. When I got there...it was not Go-gurt that got placed in my cart...it was this
I LOVE grapefruit and these little babies only have 60 calories in an 8 oz. container. They are sweet, juicy and delicious! If you like grapefruit, you really need to try these!

Now I know what you're thinking...not the best choice - so I TOTALLY JUSTIFIED THIS PURCHASE by thinking to myself..."they are really pretty small" and "I could probably stop after just one"...WHATEVER! I stopped at 2 - but there are still plenty left in the fridge! We'll see what tomorrow brings!

Both items look yummy but the eclairs beat out the grapefruit just a bit.
I have been working really hard to eat healthy and get moving (I've lost 18.5 pounds in the last 9 weeks) so I am definitely going to see if I can find the grapefruit - I love grapefruit.

Ok, so I think you guys got the grapefruit loving gene (Renae has those exact grapefruit snacks at school), and I got the cheese loving gene. I don't mind grapefruit, but I don't love it. Yay for you for making the good choices. Your eclair justification works for me! They look delicious!

Keri...I'm following Weight Watchers and exercising almost every day. I actually weighed in today and I'm down another pound and some ounces. I am a total believer in WW and how it can help someone make better food choices.
On another note...I can't find the grapefruit. Have you seen it anywhere else Jodi?
I'm putting the grapefruit on my list! I love it and so do my kids. How have I never seen this before? Probably because I spend most of my time in the snack food isle too!
