The kids also played a little "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" on this music-thingy. They did a good job for first-timers.
Coleman is turning a wheel that is attached to some gears that help carry ping pong balls up and around the huge water table. The next picture shows just how big it was. It goes all the way up the wall behind Coleman. We also enjoyed playing in the farm, the garden and the grocery store.
Kamryn helped Coleman make a "sandwich" at the deli inside the grocery store.
We also got to play outside in this...how cool?
Here is pilot Lexi in the cock-pit (Is that what it's called in a helicopter too?)
There were lots of other great exhibits, but I will move on to our next adventure. The next stop was the fountains. These are always a big hit on hot summer days!
Drying off on the warm cement so we can head back home!
It was a great way to say "goodbye" to a fun-filled summer...now we need to start practicing getting up early for school. If only the Olympics weren't on so late at night so we could try it!

okk! That looks like a BLAST! I didn't even know that stuff was up there at Gateway. It will definitely be on our list of places to visit while we are up there!
It looks like so much fun!
Didn't the summer just fly by!!!! It looks like you've had your share of fun, though! And I hear you on the olympics. I'm up right now wathching the womens gymnastics. I just can't get to bed on time!
I'm still mourning the loss of summer, but I'm sure a school routine is just what my family needs! I'm glad it worked out to head up there last minute. I'll be stealing some of those pics (again).
What a party. The fountains remind me of Kansas City.
That looks like so much fun! I'm not even a kid and I'm sure I would have enjoyed it! :)
