This summer has been a fun one! We have been enjoying the fun water parks and swimming pools in our area. We are also enjoying the tan skin, the sun bleached hair and the great memories we are making! Spending the day at the pool is fun for everyone in our family...it's a nice way to cool off and enjoy the hot summer days while we are playing and having fun together. This year, it's also been fun to not have to "worry" about a toddler. Coleman is getting so good at swimming (really swimming...not the doggy paddle!) and he is able to spend more time with the bigger kids in the deep end and on the slides.
He has also mastered the "egg drop" - Lexi will demonstrate in the video.Today we spent the day at Veterans Pool in Provo. It has a nice grassy area for laying out and enjoying the sunshine, two fun slides and a pool that ranges from 2 feet deep to 9 feet deep. But we spend most of our time here:
It's such a great place for the kids to hang out - and a nice place for the adults to watch the kids play. There are many things that I love about spending the day at the pool, but I think what I like most is that we have been able to spend the day together and the kids are so tired when we get home. It's always a good nights sleep for everyone after a long day at the pool!

What a fun place to swim, why didn't they have places like that when we were kids! Your kids are so cute! It sounds like you have really been enjoying a fun summer. Bri is taking swimming lessons and loves to swim too!
Looks like you guys are having a ball..I totally like the part though when little lexi lou is kicking cam in the face...such sibling love...LOL cute pics!!!
I can't wait to not have a toddler and be able to enjoy the pool!! We love the pool but it seems like so much work right now!

Ditto, ditto, ditto! We love the pool too! That looks like a great water park for the kids to play at! Once again, makes me wish I lived closer so we could get the kids together!
Kristina takes her there kids often. It looks fun! We usually go to the Lehi Pool, another great place for kids. We also LOVE to be in the water! Remember spending the summer at D.T.? Such fun memories!
Love the way Lex cleared the way before making her move! I also love that Kam didn't seem to mind at all. I can't believe how fast our summer is disappearing. Please, more pool trips!
