Easter eggs

I was looking for a fun "new" idea for decorating Easter eggs and came across this fun idea:They are hollowed out eggs wrapped in oragami paper and then "mod podged" onto the egg to protect the paper and seal the color. You just have to make little slits at the end of the paper so that when you wrap it around the ends, it folds over nicely. So...I was thinking...wouldn't this work with other "thin" papers? Am I brave enough to try? This year we may have to try it - I will post pictures of our finished product. (IF they turn out! ;0) The best part is that they are hollowed out - you could make a lot of them and then have them to display year after year!

Do any of you have any "fun" or "new" ideas for decorating eggs? I would really like to do something different - so please post if you have any great ideas. I'm always looking for fun new ideas that we can turn into traditions and look forward to year after year!

SOO Awesome. I'm still debating. Will Maddie appreciate eggs yet? I'm dying to see pictures of these, though. Post them even if they don't turn out - so we can see that EVEN Jodi isn't perfect!
