two new things...

I have been searching the internet trying to find a "user friendly" product that will allow me to make my own slideshows set to music with our family pictures. I have asked around, I have gone to my neighbors homes to see what they use...everything I found was either difficult to use, required a ZILLION plugs and cords or was way too expensive. Almost by accident yesterday, I got on my computer and found a free trial for "muvee maker". I decided it was worth a shot and sat down to see if I could figure it out. Less than 30 minutes later, I had created an AWESOME video of our family Christmas trip to Disneyland, set to my favorite Chirstmas music with a title page and everything. I was so proud of myself! I placed about 50 pictures on the dvd and there are ways to fade the music in and out...it is so much fun! With all of my excitement, I got Brad to sit down at the computer and make a new slide show for his Eagle court of honor. It also turned out great and took him less than 20 minutes! SO now my head is spinning with ideas...I could take a lap top to girls camp and make a killer dvd to watch on the last day, I could take some fun pictures of one of the kids birthday parties and everyone could go home with a dvd of the party. The possibilities are endless...a dvd for everything!

The new thing #2 is this little cutie I found on Keri's got stamps.blogspot...what a cute little gift for grandma's, new mothers, a little girls birthday, etc...

I am going to sign up for the class and make a lot of them to have on hand. If any of you would like to join me (and I would LOVE to have people join me!) let me know and I will get you signed up. (I think the class is only $7.00) Thanks to Keri and her great blog full of fun ideas!

I am back! Things have slowed down a bit for me so hopefully I will be keeping my blog up. Those are two great ideas! Way to go! Those cards are really cute. I would love to learn how to do those.

Oh, we gave one of those card folders to my parents for their 25th anniversary - with pictures, and favorite memories. It was AWESOME.

So funny that I find out about a cute project like that, from my friend's blog, on your blog. I am so out of it right now. I would love to attend with you! Keri would be so surprised to see me at a class again. It's been too long. I'll tell her that my sister referred me!!!

hey jodi! I love the new pic of the dance recital/performance. It is really awesome.

And i was wondering if you could do me a huge favor and give me the directions of that cute accordian style scrapbook when you do the class.

I would love to do one of those for mother's day for mom's and grandma's and great gmas.
