flu bug flu bug, go away!

and I will not add "come again another day"! I don't want this flu bug ever again! We have been sick at our house since Presidents Day...just passing this bug around like some sort of silly game! Lexi was the first to get it and it wiped her out. She was home from school for a whole week with a fever of 103 and sleeping about 18-20 hours a day. Then it was Jeff's turn and he had it just as bad as Lexi, if not worse. He finally got started on some antibiotics and is on the mend. Kamryn, Rylee, Coleman and I started with a slight sore throat and feeling sluggush. Today we are home with the full blown cough, chills and flu! GROSS! I hate being sick, but I REALLY don't like being sick when my kids are sick. I feel like I can't take care of them and be the mom. My house is becoming a mess, and what's worse, I have no desire to clean it! To top it all off....the sun is shining and the sky is blue and I want to go play outside with my kids, but no one has enough energy to venture out! Hopefully the weather will stay this way and we will be feeling better soon - right now I'm going back to bed!

you poor thing!!! It is such a bummer to be a mom and be sick. We should get an exemption from the flu bug. Thanks for always commenting on my girls blogs. I know they love it. When is your next trip to Cali?

My mother-in-law just came over with a big pot of homemade chicken noodle soup and a loaf of garlic bread...along with some herbal pill that is supposed to wipe this bug out! Thanks for your offers...hopefully we'll be on the mend soon!

Being sick is the pits. By some miracle Beckam and I have avoided what has been going around the house between Brandon and Brylie (knock on wood). Hope all of you feel better soon!!!

I hope you get feeling better. Bri was home a few days last week and we thought it was strep, but tests turned out negative, it really messes us our routine when she is sick. Get well soon!

We had the bug too! But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Eventually the bug does go away and life returns to the normal hectic day to day life. Just rest and drink lots of fluids. Hang in!

I will send many well wishes your way. I need to do some heavy duty knocking on wood, as we have been able to escape this illness so far.

I know how you feel. We have all gotten it here too. I usually am able to escape it and take care of everybody but I got it the last time. We are finally over this sickness and I hope it stays this way. Hope you get better soon.
