Life interrupted

My schedule, my sleeping habits, my WHOLE life has been turned upside down by...
THE OLYMPICS!!
I have enjoyed snuggling up in my bed with 2 or 3 of my kids and watching every event. I have knots in my stomach almost every night - cheering on the USA (or, sometimes Canada)
My whole family is really getting into it!
But I think my favorite 2010 Olympic moment was watching this:
This was AMAZING! I watched her skate a beautiful and practically perfect rountine with tears in my eyes and when she was done, the tears were flowing freely! You can read her story here.
I'll be back to blogging about life after the closing ceremonies!

I know how you feel we have kind of been the same way, but we catch what we can before I end up falling asleep (of course right before the American takes gold.)

We are so hooked too! I love the fact that my whole family enjoys it together! We are not at all a TV watching family, but the TV has been on every night since the olympics started. I couldn't stay up late enough to see the figure skaters last night though.....early morning seminary kills me every time!

How did that girl compete? I couldn't imagine . . . dealing with a mother's death. She is amazing! I love the Olympics, too. I hate to see them come to an end next week, but at the same time it'll seriously free up some time. :)

I cried watching this too, but I thought I was just full of overly sensitive pregnancy emotions. Glad to know I wasn't alone!
