Last week, Brad & Rylee participated in the high school "spirit assembly" relay race. Let me tell you - I was one proud mama watching my kids!!
Here is a picture of the sophmore class:
And here is a picture of my daughter, representing the Sophmore class, in a peanut butter licking contest...GROSS!!
And - here is a picture of my daughter AFTER the contest - she STUNK so bad - this was as close as I could get without gagging
And - here is a picture of the Seniors - the graduating class
He won this leg of the race for the seniors - he had to lobster crawl down to the end of the gym, put a blindfold on and then had to get dressed in this get-up and run back. Notice the pants not quite pulled up- well RIGHT after I took this picture, he biffed it and went down! He even has the burn on his tail bone to prove it!
I actually was proud of both of my kids - they did their best!. Seniors won, but it was totally rigged!
I was proud of the whole student body - they were fun and roudy when it was time to be fun and roudy. But most importantly, they were quiet and respectful when it was time to be quiet and respectful.
Oh...the joys of high school! I wouldn't go back if you paid me! :)

It looks like it was a lot of fun. I wouldn't go back to High School either.
Is it odd that it really JUST hit me that Brad is a senior? My little Bradley?
Your kids are gorgeous. Even with peanut butter and clown clothes.
