Spring Break

What a weird weather week for Spring Break!! We woke up to snow on Wednesday morning - and not just a little snow - a LOT of snow! My sister called to let us know about the "I Spy" exhibit at BYU Museum of Art. VERY cool!!
The sun FINALLY came out and we were able to enjoy the last day of our Spring break. Rylee's clogging team was scheduled to dance at the Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival on Saturday - so we headed out to Lehi to see the flowers and watch Rylee dance. There were some fun things to see - waterfalls, lots of flowers and this cool replica of Noah's Ark.

I thought I had my camera all ready to record Rylee's new team dance, but instead of having the setting on video, I had it on photo...so this is a new recording of her old dance - but a much clearer picture!

I promised Kamryn that we would for sure go swimming sometime during the Spring Break...she has been bugging me for weeks! Since we were already in Lehi, we made our way over to the Lehi Legacy pool and spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying the warm, INDOOR water park!

The kids enjoyed the lazy river, the big water slide and playing tag. I enjoyed the hot tub and some time to relax after a busy, busy week!!

Now it's Monday morning and the kids are all back in school - I am sitting in my quiet kitchen as I type this and realize how ready I am for summer!! Only 6 more weeks!! YEAH!

Update on Kamryn: The procedures went well - the Dr. took 10 or 11 different biopsy's and we should have the results by this weekend. He asked us to limit our dairy and our acidic foods until we know the results and can get her started on medication. Thanks for all of your well-wishes!

How fun. I've been wanting to go to the tulip festival. I'm glad the biopsy's are all over and it looks like Kamryn has a smile on her face so I take it it wasn't too bad.

Oh yeah, I am dying for summer to get here! I think I need to sit by the pool in the sun to recharge after a long winter and rainy spring!

Sounds like you made the most of spring break, despite the doctor visits. I'm curious as to which doc you came down here for. Hang in there--Kam is one tough cookie.

Glad the doctor visit went well; I was thinking of you. My kids saw pool pictures and they are a little jealous. I think we may have to go play there sometime soon.

We will have to add the Tulip Festival to our list of things to do. I'm glad you got to go swimming. It looks like the kids had a great time. Kam is a trooper. I hope some definite answers come soon.

Hey, next time you head to the Lehi pool, call me! I'll meet you there. My kids love that pool. Sasha dances at the Tulip festival in 2 weeks. Can't wait to see it. I LOOOOVE all those tulips and the garden. Gorgeous!
