We are leaving in just 17 days! Where are we going? TO DISNEYLAND! Disneyland at Christmas time is my favorite. I love the millions of lights, the "snow" on main street every night and the excitement and wonder in the kids' eyes. It truly is a magical place! My favorite ride is "It's A Small World" when it's all it up - it has over 1 million lights on the outside and they play "Jingle Bells" mixed in with the original song. 
I also love the Haunted Mansion at Christmas time. They turn it into "The Nightmare before Christmas" and it is awesome! I haven't seen the movie, but I love how the mansion looks and all of the fun decorations.
And last but not least is the Electric parade on main street. So many beautiful lights and fun songs. All of the characters dressed up for the holidays and Santa and his elves wising you a Merry Christmas to wind things up! So much fun!
I am looking forward to a MUCH needed break and the opportunity to be with my family non- stop for a whole week! No interruptions, no phone calls, no bills, no work...just DISNEYLAND and us!

That's pretty cool. How did you get your name up on the sign? So did you read our blog yet? WE WON TICKETS ON THE RADIO BABY. And you doubted. So here's the dealio. They might give us 4 tickets. If they say we have to use them with family, we can give 2 of them to you. We don't know yet. I think you're still looking for another or something.

Sounds like great fun!!!!! Vaughn and I are toying with the idea of Disney World in Florida...meeting him there after he is done with his training next week. Is it crowded this time of year? (I know you'll be in California, but I bet its similar.) And, I didn't even think about how great it would be with Christmas lights and stuff. That makes it all the more interesting of an idea. I'll have to tell Vaughn.

We can't wait to have you guys down our way. We may have to sneak away from school for a few hours to come play with you guys at Disneyland. I hope your trip is a ton of fun!
