Isn't she cute? Not really - she's actually kind of ugly, but that's what makes her so cute! I guess I am so proud of this because I have SO MANY unfinished projects sitting in my sewing room. Some are waiting to be finished and others are waiting to be started. Some are from last month and some are from 1990! I have some pajamas all cut out and sewn together and are just needing the elastic put in the waist. They are size 2T and they are made from the cutest "sports" fabric. I started them for my son when he was one - he is now 15. I also have in my "unfinished" collection, a pair of wooden bunnies, about 2 1/2 feet tall, all painted and just needing to be dressed with the little outfits I have almost finished. I will never use them - I made them in Relief Society right after I was married and chose the fantastic color combination of country blue and dusty rose. GROSS! So now you have an idea of the true procrastinator that I am deep down inside. Am I the only one who has a couple of rubber-maid storage bins full of unfinished projects? Probably not. But I have turned over a new leaf and I am on the road to recovery...thanks to my cute witch project and the feeling of accomplishment every time I see her!

git-er-done!
I am part of a "stitching group" that meets every other month. This months project was so cute and I just had to show off my finished project! We just started the stitching group on Thursday, I finished the stitching part on Friday and then got it all made into a pillow by Friday night. My project is FINISHED ~ complete ~ and on top of my piano for all to see!

Adorable Jodi! Great job! A stiching group sounds fun! What's your next project?
I gave away a huge pile of fabric to my Mom a few years ago to use in Relief Society and then built up another pile of fabric which I gave away again when I started packing/cleaning up for the move to Virginia. Hopefully my donations go to someone who can finish a project! (Somewhere I still have an unfinished cross stitch for my grandma that I started in 1989!)
She looks great! Now that I am back in stitching mode, I think I'll dig up that unfinished cow and sunflower cross stitch from 1994 ish. Christmas is right around the corner...I might have time to finish it for you! It will still go with your decor, right? p.s. Those dusty rose and blue bunnies would be PERFECT for my house. I'm redoing my bedroom. Do you have any lace I could borrow for the bottom of my curtains? I think Renae still has the stuff to make a air freshener doll, and I'm pretty sure she has those colors, too! It will be a thing of beauty.
I like the witch! Halloween never was a "cute" holiday anyway. I aspire to be a project kind of gal but I never get so far as to even start. See, you're still one up on me!
