Missionary Mail Monday...sort of

I got a letter from my missionary today - he is alive and well in St. Vincent and it's Carnival there so they are pretty much stuck inside. That means that there are no pictures or anything exciting to report
so
I've decided to share something I found on Pinterest
(I'm just a little bit obsessed with Pinterest - okay - a lot obsessed!)

I am going to Walmart to buy a big Rubbermaid tub and I'm printing the cute little poem and it's going to be "pick it up or you're out of luck" at my house starting tomorrow! I think that my kids have it in their cute little heads that because it's summer, they don't have to pick up after themselves.

It's seriously driving me CRAZY

Every single room in my house is in serious need of picking up. EVERY ROOM! Just today I've picked up shoes, toys, nail polish, dishes, clothes, sunflower seeds, baseball equipment, swim towels and a squirt gun...and I haven't even been downstairs yet!

I better get working on my list of chores - hopefully my house will be sparkling by the end of the week!

I kind of love this idea! :-)

Kids are supposed to pick up their own things? Someone tell my children! But seriously, how old before responsibility means anything to them? Charlotte is turning six and just starting to catch on. Is that abnormal?
