Be Prepared
I am not really into scouting at all but I do appreciate their motto...Be Prepared! The next two weeks are going to be tough - REALLY tough for me. I will be working at the seminary building every day from 7:30am-1:30pm, working in SLC everyday from 2:30pm-10:30pm, driving home in construction traffic and hopefully falling asleep quickly once my head hits the pillow at midnight. Throw in a 6k next Saturday and making an appearance at court with my 8 year old sometime this week and my schedule is pretty full! I'm gearing up mentally (I keep telling myself "It's only two weeks") but I'm more worried about being prepared and making sure things run smoothly here on the home front. In order to get a jump on things, I got up early this morning and made some honey glazed chicken, pulled pork for sandwiches and some beef stew freezer meals so I can either throw them in the crock-pot before I leave for work or the family can warm up when they are ready to eat. I also made 5 seasoned chicken breasts and a big bowl of salad for my lunches this coming week...grab-n-go! I've started my laundry (and hope to finish while I watch General Conference) and talked to my kids about making lunches and getting clothes laid out before they go to bed so that our mornings go off without a hitch. I'm trying to make sure I've got all my bases covered and hopefully the next two weeks will be smooth sailing - but I have this nagging feeling that Murphy's Law is just waiting around the corner and all of my planning and preparation will have been in vain. I'm hoping that the boy scout motto is enough to get me through the next two weeks!

Oh no, hopefully it goes well. You didn't forget about the twins' blessings on Saturday right? Hopefully you can still make it. If not, we understand.
I got tired just reading this. Best of luck! We'll be praying you make it through. If you need me to help at all, let me know. I'd be happy to jump in if I need to.
Thinking about you....hope everything is almost over!
Hugs!
