Great Way to Spend the Day

I LOVE General Conference weekend! This year I started a new tradition of getting up early and making these...
The family was split 50/50 on raspberry rolls vs. orange rolls - so we'll do them both every year I guess!
We have a few other "traditions" that we do during conference.
The kids like me to print off some coloring pages from the internet and they usually stay pretty quiet and listen!
There's always bite sized treats for Conference Bingo!
And there are always a few puzzles that need to be put together.
But this year, we added something different - something special and it's not going to happen again in our family for a LONG time
We ordained Brad to the office of an Elder. Our Bishop, Bro. "Phil" and both grandparents were there to support us in the ordination. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful son. Brad is fun loving, energentic, happy, smart, helpful, kind, athletic, etc...the list could go on and on. I am SO proud of him and the decisions that he's making. Another few months and he'll be leaving to go on a mission!
It was a great way to spend the day!
